Why did you become a Realtor?
My whole family has been in real estate for years. My parents and my brothers and myself. I have enjoyed helping people find a home, as well as helping them sell their current property in order to move on to a new adventure.
What are your favorite parts of the job?
Having satisfied clients is the pay-off in this business. Home ownership is a huge part of someone’s financial and emotional life! It gives me great satisfaction to help make the process as smooth and successful as possible.
What are the most challenging parts of the job?
With today’s economy, lending has become a huge factor. Not only is it more difficult to get a loan today than ever, there are many who are walking away from their homes and investments, creating a short sale and bank-owned nightmare.
People think it is a buyer’s market, but for many they are waiting in line for a short sale or bank-owned property behind several other prospective buyers. If the typical buyer has a small down payment he can be passed over for a cash offer.
What do you think of the market right now?
I think it is the best time to buy! The rates are excellent and there are still some great lenders out there helping folks get set for purchase. Homes are an amazing value!
