As Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista undergoes a transfer of ownership after being foreclosed on earlier this year, existing homes are currently for sale in the community.
This weekend, A Fall Affair, put on by four separate real estate agencies, will open seven homes to the public. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9.
“We’re just trying to bring some new eyes into the development,” said Prudential California Realty of Auburn co-owner Russ Broughan. “We’re offering a golf getaway,
and an opportunity to check out some new and existing inventory in the development.”
Along with
Prudential California Realty, Shirley Daley of Lyon Real Estate, Marie Leatherby of Leatherby and Associates and Matt Baughman and Heather Chavez of Keller Williams Realty will also be showing homes in the exclusive golf club community.
The homes range in size from 3,600 square feet to more than 6,000 square feet. Starting prices go from $1.245 million to $2.770 million and higher. Each home will also have a drawing for prizes.
“We’re just trying to get the word out that Winchester is back on track to getting out of the foreclosure cloud,” said Broughan, who will be working the event with his wife, Debbie.
