John Caulfield, award-winning custom home builder, has added a new division to his company, Landmark Endeavors, Inc.
Caulfield is remodeling and renovating homes in the Granite Bay, Folsom, Sacramento, El Dorado Hills, Roseville and Auburn areas.
“This is a unique move for LEI,” said Caulfield, Landmark Endeavors’ president and CEO. “We are translating the custom home building process to remodeling homes. We work closely with homeowners, gathering ideas and offering designs that meet their wishes and following through on every phase of the project.”
Remodeling means that homeowners can enjoy custom home designs and special amenities without having to move.
LEI can customize kitchens, add rooms or do whole-house remodels, basically converting a present home into a showplace.
Since adding the remodeling/renovation division, the Granite Bay company has completed three custom renovations and is finishing three more projects.
“Our clients say they are extremely satisfied with our streamlined process and the results of their remodeling projects,” Caulfield said.
LEI is known for building several custom homes in the Granite Bay area and beyond. In fact, the builder’s 6,250-square-foot estate in Bella Terra took top honors in the recent Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Awards sponsored by the North State Building Industry Association.
LEI received Best Custom Home awards for Bella Terra ($2.1 million and above category) and also for Clos du Lac (homes up to $2 million), located in Loomis.
After receiving the awards, Caulfield was recognized by the association.

Caulfield is a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is affiliated with one of the NAHB Builder 20 clubs. He served on the North State BIA Board of Directors for three years and chaired the 2003 Dream Home Showcase in Folsom. He won a Best Custom Home in the 2004 MAME Award competition.
