Sale to offer native and unusual plants
Placer Nature Center's annual Native and Unusual Plant Sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Sierra College's Rocklin Campus, 5000 Rocklin Road.
Most of the participating nurseries and growers are not normally open to the public, so this is a great opportunity to add intriguing specimens to your collection, organizers say.
There will be carnivorous plants, unusual bromeliads, bamboos, and many shrub and tree species not generally found in retail nurseries. There will also be activities for children. For more information visit Web site www.Placer Nature Center.org.
