On Oct. 3, Premier Foothill Properties in Cool welcomed members of the community to its open house.
Broker, Susan Cantrell, Realtors, Mary Buck, Deb Peter, Theresa Duvall and office assistant, Megan Bondar were on hand to meet guests, discuss market trends and property valuation.
Current property listings and special foreclosure lists were also offered to all in attendance. Guests were treated to live music by Pranqster and plenty of free food. Local artist Mary Moore showcased her award-winning artwork and discussed her techniques and the inspiration behind her work.
The Realtors at Premier Foothill Properties have been very busy since they opened their doors in June. Currently they are closing an escrow approximately every 10 days.
“We’re happy to assist so many buyers take advantage of the wonderful investment opportunities in today’s market,” Cantrell said.
Collectively, the Realtors have more than 50 years of real estate experience. They have extensive experience with foreclosures, short sales, real estate owned marketing, investment properties, and ranch/equestrian properties.

Local Women’s Council of Realtors honored
Women’s Council of Realtors Placer County Chapter, a not-for-profit professional organization, has been awarded the Gold Chapter Excellence Award by the Women’s Council of Realtors.
This annual award recognizes a chapter that fully exercises its potential as entrepreneurs and real estate industry leaders — and who shares its time, talent and expertise with others in the profession and in the community.
“This is a huge achievement in a time of market challenge,” said president Krista Johnson. “At the same time, it is an opportunity to invite new members and help others reach their potential.”
Coldwell Banker offers move-up program
Normal 0 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has launched a targeted new marketing program to support consumers interested in moving up to a larger home to take advantage of improving values in the upper end of the housing market.
The move-up initiative was test marketed in the communities of Elk Grove and Vacaville last month and proved so successful that Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage decided to roll the program out throughout the Sacramento-Tahoe region, where the company has nearly 1,000 agents and 17 offices.
Each office will have eight to 12 agents who will specialize in working with move-up buyers. The "move-up marketers" will receive specialized training and devote more than half of each week to the special consumer niche. The agents will deploy online and direct mail marketing programs and will be supported with a wide variety of marketing tools and channels.
