Catastrophic Aid for Real Estate, or C.A.R.E., is a nonprofit organization put together by real estate agents and other people in the industry whose sole purpose is to provide financial help when someone in the real estate community has been devastated by a life-changing event.
Started in Placer County, it has now grown to three counties and its hope is to expand its reach to the national level.
After receiving most of its donations from inside the real estate industry, C.A.R.E. has found the need to expand awareness by appealing to corporations and vendors.
A short infomercial is being produced by Sandy Schweiger and NorCal Locations that includes interviews with a young agent battling breast cancer, a lender whose wife and daughter where in a terrible car accident, and another lender whose wife has had a long fight with cancer, all of whom where helped by generous donations from C.A.R.E.
Keeping it all in the family, Schweiger managed to acquire a filming crew that have all worked in some manner in the real estate community.
C.A.R.E. is hoping to generate a level of attention that would attract corporate sponsorship as well as share the amazing things C.A.R.E. does for those in the real estate community.
The video will be available on C.A.R.E’s Web site and for download from iTunes.
The video is now in post production and C.A.R.E. hopes to have it available for download on its site soon. For more information visit www.care4re.com.
