DREAM HOME OR REDEEM HOME?

Do you want to redeem someone else's home or would you rather start from the ground and build your dream home? That choice might be more realistic than you realize.
If you don't believe me try this formula yourself:
- Find a foreclosure/short sale in the 'location, location, location' of your choice.
- Is it in your price range?
- What are the costs to remodel, landscape, or even make cosmetic changes?
- Calculate all of the above and save for your first reference point,.
Now always starting with 'location, location, location',:
- Find a piece of land, perhaps a foreclosre/sort sale,or price reduced because of the market.
- If you have not already designed your dream home, you can avoid cost of an architect or draftsperson by finding a custom builder who provides many house plans that can be modified to suit your vision.
- Ask the custom builder to give you a complimentary quick quote for the cost of building on the lot of your choice.
You may be surprised to find that you can build your dream rather than remodel and redeem.
